Denmark

Denmark is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. It is the most populous and politically central constituent of the Kingdom of Denmark, a constitutionally unitary state that includes the autonomous territories of the Faroe Islands and Greenland in the North Atlantic Ocean. European Denmark is the southernmost of the Scandinavian countries, lying southwest of Sweden, south of Norway, and north of Germany. Denmark has a long tradition of design and aesthetics, of empathy, of humanity, (they have free healthcare and education) a strong tradition in technology and a social security net that encourages risk. Danish design is world-renowned. It is clean and beautiful but if you look a bit further it’s really not just about aesthetics. It’s about using your senses - smell, touch, sight, sound, taste - to access something much more primal: a sense of belonging. A sense that in a grey, cold, sleet-covered landscape, you are safe. In a frazzled, overwhelming world, Danish design will soothe you. It will bring you home. Danes know how to use the small things to access the big things. Denmark is practically an island nation, as it consists of more than 440 islands (but only about 70 of them are inhabited). Even the Danish capital, Copenhagen, is situated on an island. Nowhere in Denmark is more than 50 km for the sea. Denmark’s location makes it a great gateway to other Scandinavian countries and the rest of Europe. Berlin is just an hour’s flight away. London and Paris can be reached in less than two hours. And Barcelona, Rome, Vienna and Prague are all just a few hours travel away. The historical architecture will stun you .It is considered as one of major travels destination among tourists.
